Ramadan Moon Sighted in Pakistan
According to the Central Royat Hilal Committee, the moon of the month of Ramadan has been sighted in Pakistan, after which the first fast will be observed on Thursday, March 23 across the country.
The meeting of the Central Viewing of the Crescent Committee for the sighting of the moon of the month of Ramadan ended with an unusual delay. At 10:15 PM, the chairman of the committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, made a formal announcement regarding the sighting of the moon.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that testimonies of moon sighting were received from Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Swabi, Qila Saifullah and Mardan.
It should be noted that the meeting of the Central Royat Hilal Committee for sighting the moon of Ramadan was concluded in Awqaf Hall Peshawar under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad. On the other hand, the moon of Ramadan was not sighted in India and Bangladesh, after which the first Ramadan will take place on Friday, April 24.
