UAE
The crescent moon, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, has been sighted in the UAE, authorities have announced.
Therefore, today, April 1, will be the last day of the month of Shaaban, and the holy month will begin on Saturday, April 2.
The moon-sighting committee had convened today after the Maghrib prayer.

Taliban government announces first fast in Afghanistan tomorrow April 2. Taliban spokesman and deputy information minister Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted that the first Ramadan Fast in Afghanistan would take place tomorrow, April 2. On the other hand, the Supreme Court of Afghanistan has announced that there is evidence of sighting of the moon in the country, after which the month of Ramadan will start from tomorrow, April 2.
Afghanistan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has declared the first fast a public holiday across the country. Taliban spokesman and Deputy Information Minister Zabihullah Mujahid also confirmed the holiday on the occasion of the first fast in Afghanistan.
Oman
Thee Sultanate of Oman announces that Sunday, April 3, is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan 2022.
Brunei
The Sultanate of Brunei confirmed that the crescent moon was not sighted in the country on Friday. Therefore, officials said Saturday, April 2, would be the last day of the month of Shaaban, and the holy month will begin from Sunday, April 3.
Malaysia
Malaysia announced that the first day of the holy month would be April 3.
Indonesia
Indonesia also announced that the first day of the holy month would be April 3.
Pakistan
In Pakistan, A meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Peshawar tomorrow April 2 regarding the holy month of Ramadan in Pakistan. It is expected that 1st Ramadan in Pakistan will be on April 3.
