The Emirates Astronomical Society has made predictions regarding the start of Ramadan 2023 and Eid al-Fitr in the UAE.
The Emirates Astronomical Society says Ramadan 1444 AH is likely to start in the UAE on March 23 and Eid al-Fitr is likely to be on Friday, April 21.
Fasting duration in UAE
According to the Emirates Astronomical Society, this year the duration of fasting in the UAE will be from 13 hours 30 minutes to 14 hours 13 minutes.
Ramadan Moon sighting in UAE
The meeting of the authorities will also be held on the evening of March 21 to see the moon of Ramadan in the United Arab Emirates.
