Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عید الاضحی) or the Holiday of Sacrifice is the second and the larger of the two main holidays celebrated in Islam. It honours the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God's command.
When is Eid al Adha 2023?
Eid ul Adha 2023 or Bakra Eid 2023 is expected to be celebrated on Wednesday, 28th of June 2023. This is the expected date as the actual date depends on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah, 1444, the 12th and last month of the Islamic Calendar.
